Contineo pays homage to the interconnectedness of the balancing acrobat and apparatus on which they perform. Just like the tree, which must dig it's roots deep into the earth for years upon years in order to sustain the weight of its own bows, so must the balancer practice his or her craft for a lifetime to attain the strength and beauty of mastery.
